Passed away peacefully at LHSC University Hospital, London, Ont., on Sept. 15, 2008, Gerald A. (Gerry) Hickey, CD of London, Ont., and formerly of Darnley, P.E.I., in his 78th year. Son of the late Clarence and Hilda (Smith) Hickey. Beloved father of Paul Hickey (the late Leslie Carroll) of Brampton, Elizabeth Ball of London, Noella Anthony (Doyle) of North Bay, and Jerry Hickey of North Bay. Proud grandfather of Connor, Amy, Brad, Doyle Jr., and Dustin. Remembered by their mother and grandmother Joan Hickey of Charlottetown. Dear brother of Miriam Johnston (the late John) of Summerside, Anna Doyle (Reuben) of Ottawa, and the late Paul Hickey (Doreen) of Summerside. Funeral services were held in London, Ont., on Sept. 17, 2008. A Committal Service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River, on Saturday May 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. Arrangements Entrusted to the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington.
