The death of Muriel Theresa "Molly" Houlston widow of Max Houlston of Miramichi, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the age of 88. Born in Blissfield, Molly was the daughter of the late Jack and Maggie (Moran) Bowes.
Molly was a homemaker and attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi, NB.
Molly is survived by five daughters: Terry Houlston of Winnipeg , MB, Barbara Burrell of Ottawa, ON, Maria Campbell (Alan) of Moncton, NB, Judy Houlston-Guthrie (Brian) and Kay Auger (Bob) all of Ottawa, ON; five sons: Robert (Nancy), Tommy (Dawn) and Richard all of Miramichi, NB , Paul (Helene) of Ottawa, ON and Ronnie (Vicky) of Sunny Corner, NB; one sister: Irene Manderson of Miramichi, NB and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by five sisters: Helen, Pearle, Ruby, Nora and Leona and three brothers: Pete, Jack and Frank.
Visitation will be held at Bell's Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In Molly's memory a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
