1938 - 2010 - Huberte Léger-Melanson, 72, of Fort McMurray, Alberta and formerly of Saint-Antoine, passed away at her residence on June 11th, 2010. Born in Saint-Antoine on March 4th, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Félix and the late Anita (Lacroix) Léger. She leaves to mourn her, one daughter Charmaine Dallaire (Rhéal) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; two grandchildren, Mathieu and Emilie; two sisters, Lucille Martineau (Norman) of Rumford, ME, Donalda Daub (Patrick) of Fort Frances, ON; five brothers, Fernand (Marlene) of Garland TX, Victor (Ginette) of St-Adrien, QC, Maurice (Jacqueline) of Montreal, QC, Léonard (Viola) of Beresford, Ronald (Denise) of Sudbury, ON, Louis-Philippe (Annette) of Saint-Antoine and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn a very special friend Stuart Ikin of Fort McMurray. She was predeceased by one son Paul-Edmond and one brother Jacques-René (Lorraine).
Visitations will be held for the public at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Monday, July 12th, 2010 from 5:30 to 6:45 pm. A private service for family members will follow at 7:00 pm. Internment will be in the Saint-Pierre RC Cemetery, Cocagne. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
