MURPHY, Raymond Francis ­ Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Friday, October 3, 2008, Raymond Francis Murphy, age 74 years. Leaving to mourn wife Shirley; children: Cathy, Colleen, Shane (Diana) and Darryl (Nancy); grandchildren: Shanda, Amanda, Stephen, Caroline, Shawn, Jarod, Daniel, Spenser and Sydney; great-grandchildren: Elisa and Mackenzie; sister-in-law Madonna Saunders; brothers: Tom and Jack; sisters: Jessie, Rose and Loretta; also a large circle of relatives and friends, especially his friends at Riverhead Towers. At his request, cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Kids Eat Smart Foundation.rnrn
