Cindy McCreath (nee Flack)
July 2, 1958 - May 7, 2009
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy following a brief battle with cancer. Cindy was predeceased by her father, Donald Flack on April 20, 2009. Cindy is sadly missed by her children, Jacqui and Thomas, her mother Mary, her sister Sherry, her nieces Alexandra and Emily, numerous cousins and the many friends she collected along life's journey. Cindy was raised in Mortlach and after graduation, studied journalism. She went on to work for the CBC in Regina before moving to Calgary where she worked in communications for the Alberta Beef Magazine and the Canadian Cattlemen's Association. In 2007, her entrepreneurial leanings led her to start her own company, McCreath Enterprises. Cindy loved to travel and was able to experience many of the great joys of seeing the world that only a true traveler knows. Cindy had a fervor and independence that gave her great adventures in life and made her a much loved mother, daughter, sister and friend. Cindy will be sadly missed and remembered by all that shared in her life. At Cindy's request, there will be no funeral service. In her memory, please take a moment to phone an old friend and chat for awhile.
