It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Agatha McGoldrick (nee LaSaga) announce her passing on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with many precious memories, her children: Cavell (Richard), Judy (Jerry) Alexander, Elaine (Alan) Brown, Rick (Norma), Patsy Rancourt and Michael (Lucy); grandchildren: Walter, Mark, Paul, Kimberly, Sheldon, Samantha and Adam; great-grandchild, Keira-Marie; brothers: Gordon and Thomas LaSaga, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas; sisters: Olga Gallant and Patsy Lelliun; brother, Morris McIsaac. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, St. George's, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will take place following the Mass in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courthouse Road, St. George's. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
