BOUDREAU, Esther Venerante - 103, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2010 at Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, Yarmouth Co. Born in West Pubnico on November 24, 1906, she was the eldest daughter of the late Sylvester and Jessie (d'Eon) d'Entremont. Being the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clarence, her sisters, Adeline Doucette, Beatrice d'Entremont, Bernadine LeBlanc and Isabelle d'Entremont, a stepson, Jean, and a special sister-in-law, Mildred Boudreau. She is survived by a step-daughter, Anne Chant, and a step-grandson, Jimmy. For the past ten years she received loving care from her nephew, Larry (Gloria) d'Entremont; niece, Joanne (Richard) Graves, and nephew, Jim (Arlene) LeBlanc. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Corrine, Tusket; Alice and Betty, both of Wedgeport; Annie, Halifax, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. The family is very grateful for the kindness and dedication of both administration and staff of Pont-du-Marais Boarding Home in West Pubnico during Esther's years there, and most recently the staff at Villa St. Joseph. Visitation took place from 7-9 Tuesday evening, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 7 from St. Michael's Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Gregory Sampson officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
