Donna was born in Fredericton, NB, Canada on January 13th, 1956, daughter of Lawrence and Helen (O'Connor) Dutcher. At the age of twelve, Donna held her first job, working at Woolworth's Five & Dime in Saint John. Shortly after graduating high school, she went to work as a dispatcher for the Saint John City Police Department. She also worked as a client representative for Merrill Lynch; in the Traffic Dept. for Irving where she arranged shipments to various destinations and computerized their paper system; she worked as a desk top publisher for Claymore Inc. in Longview, WA and in truck shipment brokerage at the border for Calais and St. Stephen, first for Norman Jenson's, then with United Parcel Service. Donna will be lovingly remembered as being full of life, energetic and the type of person who made everyone smile when she walked in the room. She gave greater meaning to life with many of the people she held in her life. Donna had a special interest in the people around her. She graciously lent a hand wherever she could. She extended a hand when asked to or perceived a need in someone. She loved good humour and loved to laugh. Donna's passing will leave a hole that is impossible to fill in many people's lives.
