Raymond "Bud" A. Johnson, 82, of Moncton, with his loving wife at his side, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, July 12th, 2010.
Born in Berry Mills, he was the son of the late Lee and Jean (Glendinning) Johnson. Bud was retired from NB Power, with 30 years service and was a member of West Lane Baptist Church, where he served his church in various capacities in past years and was former Co-Chairman of West Lane Boys Scout Troup. He enjoyed curling, trailering, travelling, listening to music, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Bud will be sadly missed by his wife of over 58 years, Erna (Rooney); sons, Robert (Karla), Scarborough, ON, William "Bill", Moncton; his pride and joy, granddaughter, Claudia; sisters, Margaret Doucet (Alex Dan), Moncton, Helen Laity (Walter), Riverview, Roberta Richardson (Willis), Riverview, Marion Robinson (Jack), Beersville; several nieces and nephews.
No funeral service by personal request. Sharing of Memories for Bud at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, July 15th, 2010, 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
