1934 - 2010 - Norman Arsenault, 75 of Fitchburg, Mass passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12th, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He spent all his summers at the cottage in Sainte-Marie de Kent with his wife Laura (Boucher) Arsenault. Born in Moncton on September 6, 1934 he was the son of the late Francois and the late Mélanie (Allain) Arsenault.
Norman worked for 30 yrs for Pelletiers and Sons Construction Co. as a sheet rock installer; he belonged to the St Joseph Social Club, and the Local Union 107 for 28 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Laura, and his two daughters, Linda Williams of Gardner, Mass, and Marie Maillet of Leominster, Mass. He also leaves to mourn one sister Doris LeBlanc (Ulysse) of Ellenton, FL. and several half and step siblings: Ulysse LeBlanc, Christine LeBlanc, Doris Maillet, Jeannita Maillet, Ella Cormier, Alyre LeBlanc, Patrick LeBlanc, Angus LeBlanc, Jeannine and Gloria, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by eight half and step siblings: Lionel, Aldorie, Leonide, Rita, Lorraine, Thérèse, Henry, and Catherine.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 from 1 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 at 4:00 pm. Norman will than be transferred to Isabelle Funeral Home, Fitchburg for viewing on Friday July 16th, 2010 from 9 to 11 am with a prayer to follow at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the St Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg. In Norman's memory donations can be made to the Lung Association.
