The death of R. Sharon Downie occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on July 13th, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Bill Penney; two children, Gerry Graves (Kelly) of Saint John, NB and Starr Mackenzie (Paul) of Oromocto, NB; four step-children, Weston, Roberta, Billy and Myrna; grandchildren, Christopher, Melinda, Christina, Jonathan, William and Jeremy; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Morse, Gerry and Frank Saunders as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Todd Graves; her first husband, Bill Graves and several brothers.
A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday, July 16th, 2010 at 3:00 pm with Fr. Ken Weir officiating. www.oromoctofh.com (357-5100)
