Everyone that sees you, always wants to know you
And everyone who knows you, always has a smile
You're a standing ovation
Everyone calls you amazing, I just call you mine.
On Sunday, July 11th we tragically lost our precious Terilyn Anne Yuzik. Terilyn, the beloved daughter of Jean Meyers and the Late George Yuzik and little sister to Travis (Melissa) and Tracey was born on September 4, 1991.
Terilyn touched the lives of so many people and approached life with a positive, respectful attitude and a wonderful sense of humour. Her enthusiasm was contagious. She valued and respected people of all ages and walks of life and made friends easily. She surrounded herself with positive friends. She was real and honest and stayed true to her beliefs. She often reminded us of what is important in life - family and friends. She was a role model and had a positive influence on those in her life and will remind us how life should be lived. Terilyn graduated from Carlton Comprehensive High School in 2009, then worked at California Fitness and Leon's where she brought smiles and funny memories. Recently she spent time with her brother and his business in Sundre, making friends with many locals and co-workers.
Terilyn is now with her Dad, George Yuzik; her Grandma and Grandpa Yuzik; Grandma and Grandpa Meyers; and her special Auntie Frances Berezowski. Terilyn will be deeply and forever missed by her mother Jean, her brother Travis (Melissa Townsend) and her sister Tracey, as well as her aunts and uncles, Henry and Shirley Yuzik, Chris and Glenn Holowachuk, Helen Chartrand, Joe Yuzik, Rena and Bill Cline, Pat and Roy Gudelot, Joanne and Larry Attig, Donna and Bob Silver, and Judy and Casey Akkermans and their families.
Terilyn will also be sadly missed by her many dear friends who were an extremely important part of her life - friends whose families considered Terilyn part of their family. Her wonderful sense of humour was appreciated by anyone who had the honour of spending time with her. As friends and family of our dear Angel, we ask that in lieu of donations, in keeping with how Terilyn lived her life, that your condolences be shown in the form of telling everyone important in your life how you feel about them every chance you get. Terilyn, your family is so proud of you. We will always love you and you will always be with us. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796 - 15th Avenue East, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas, Director of Spiritual Care for the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region, officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director.
