Passed peacefully away at his residence, Harbour Grace on Saturday, July 10, 2010, Gerard Collins, age 53 years. Predeceased by parents: Bernard and Eleanor. Left to mourn: two brothers: Aiden (Paulette), Carbonear, and Paul (Debbie), Harbour Grace; four sisters: Bernice (Donald) Dawe, Catherine (Dennis) King, and Deidre (Wade) Hynes, all of Halifax, N.S. and Paulette (Bill) Pilgrim, Goose Bay; nieces: Cindy, Tiffany, Krista, Alyson, Jennifer, Sarah and Mary; nephews: Christopher, Bernie, Ian, Neal and Liam; caregivers: Paulette and Maxine; very special friends: Clifford Kennedy and Shirley Barnes; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Fr. F. J. Aylward conducted the funeral mass on Wednesday, July 14 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
