1930 - 2010
Corinne Cormier, 71 of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away at her residence on Friday July 16th, 2010 surrounded by her family.
Born in Bouctouche on May 30th, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Alderic and the late Odila (LeBlanc) Allain.
Corinne was an elementary school teacher in Kent co. for 31 years prior to her retirement.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Alonzo; her two children, Joanne Melanson (Gilles), of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Claude, of Tracadie-Sheila; one daughter-in-law, Huguette Thomas; her three grandchildren, Christien, Danie, and Rémi. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Lucille Thiel (Chelsey), of Peterborough, ON; her brother, Gerard, of Bouctouche; and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister, Alberta; and one brother, Jean.
Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent, on Monday, July 19th from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church on Monday, July 19th, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Corinne's memory, donations can be made to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation.
