Ella M. Lawrence of Fredericton, NB passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ella was born at Lake Edward, Victoria County, NB on April 23, 1929. She was a daughter of the late Lemuel and Bessie (Skidule) Hitchcock. Ella was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 4, Royal Canadian Legion, Fredericton, NB. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Daley (Jack), Johanna Doherty (Dewey), Marvena Little (Stephen), Grace Adams (Eugene), Nancy Swim (Clayton) and Donna Nowak (George); sons, Kevin Adams (Carla) and Darren Adams; step children, Robert Lawrence, Maria Mathews, Lorna Jewett, Theresa Clark and Peter Lawrence; sisters, Lula, Betty and Mona; brother Roy; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ella was predeceased by her first husband, Marvin Adams, two sons, Tim Adams and infant John; infant granddaughter Mikayla Adams, infant great grandson, Jamie Adams, her second husband, Weldon Lawrence and several brothers and sisters.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Interment will follow in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dewey Doherty, George Nowak, Stephen Little, Clayton Swim, Dwight Moffitt and Carla Adams.
