It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Sweetland announce his passing at his residence on Monday, July 19th, 2010 at the age of 85 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Helen and two sons: Kevin Sweetland (Ruth Young) of Stephenville, Keith (Denise) Sweetland of Conception Bay South, one daughter, Kathy Sweetland (Darryl Murley) of Corner Brook, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 21st at 2:00 p.m. at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Hillview Avenue, Stephenville with Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating and assisted by Rev. Lloyd Collett and Rev. Hubert Coombs. Interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
