September 17th, 1941 - July 15th, 2010

It is with great sadness, the family of Art announces his passing on Thursday July 15th, 2010 with his cherished son, Todd, at his side. To be forever missed by his much loved children, Joanne and Todd, son-in-law Paul, adored grandsons, Matthew and Sean and brother Seward. Art was predeceased by his parents John and Evelyn, brothers Donald and Raymond. He will be fondly remembered by a large circle of family and friends both in Newfoundland and Ontario. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at 2 pm at the Cathedral of St. John's the Evangelist, Main Street, Corner Brook with The Rev: Dean Michael Rice officiating, then Art will be laid to rest with his parents at Mount Patricia Cemetery in Corner Brook. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a children's charity of your choice or to the Canadian Cancer Society in Arts memory.
