Lucy W. Morgan of Upper Hainesville, NB passed away July 19th, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on December 14th, 1920 at Howland Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Sanford D. and Mary A. (Foster) Haines. Lucy was affiliated with the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed knitting and working in her flower garden, spending time with her family and playing games, especially dominoes. Lucy is survived by three sons, John Morgan (Cathy) of Upper Hainesville; Leo Morgan (Sandra) of Keswick Ridge and Donald Morgan (Jeannette) of Burtts Corner; four daughters, Wanda Liston of North Attleboro, Mass; Charlotte Hickey (Arnold) and Joyce Pike (Marcus) of Temperance Vale; and Esther Shaw of Upper Hainesville; three sisters, Rachel Brooks (Irvine) of Fredericton; Marjorie and Willette Mowry of Tracy; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Brewer, Upper Hainesville; 28 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Sterling Morgan; one son, Clyde Morgan; five brothers, Vincent, Lester, Wilbur, Arthur and Alonzo; one niece, Sandra Mowry; two son-in-laws, Harold Liston and Albert Shaw and a special friend Neil Barbour.
Visiting hours will take place at Flewellings Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, on Thursday, July 22, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday at 2 pm. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gordon Mowry officiating. Interment will take place at the Upper Hainesville Cemetery.
