The death of Raymond Ashley MacDonald of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, July 19, 2010 at his residence. Born at Hammondvale, NB, on July 26, 1935, he was a son of the late James and Eileen (Meehan) MacDonald.
Raymond worked as a carpenter for many years.
Survived by his sons, David and Steven, both of Saint John; daughter, Debbie MacDonald of Saint John; brothers, Edwin MacDonald (Mary), Leslie MacDonald (Helen) both of Rothesay, NB and James "Junior" MacDonald (Shirley) of Rowley, NB; grandchildren, David and Meghan Lyons, Devon Hosford, Keisha and Malaki Goldsworthy.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424, with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:30 AM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment to take place in Fernhill Cemetery on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM.
