POWER, John M. – 1919-2009. Passed away peacefully at McMaster Medical Centre, Hamilton, Ontario on Wednesday, May 20th, 2009 in his 90th year. Leaving to mourn wife Nina, children: Patricia, Derek (Cathy), Nina, Mark (Louise), Moya. Also leaves loved grandchildren Shelley, Shane, Kimberley, Jessie, Leon, Raymond, Keith, Renee, Donna, Jason, Rebecca, Melanie, Adam, Matthew, Sarah and five great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Jitka. Predeceased by an infant son Mark (1953) and son John (2007). As well he leaves many friends in St. John’s, NL, Wolfville, N.S. and Dundas, Ontario John has been a grateful friend of Bill W. Cremation has taken place. Private Funeral Service was held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek (905)662-2948. A Memorial Service will be held in Wolfville, Nova Scotia in July.
