The death of Herbert Earl Briggs of Newcastle Creek, NB occurred Tuesday, July 13th, 2010 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in Ripples, NB he was the son of the late Hazen and Lena (Colwell) Briggs.
Survived by his loving wife Audrey Jean (Harding) Briggs; a son, Randy (Shelley) of Cochrane, AB; a daughter, Nadine of Quadra Island, BC and Marilyn of Ottawa; daughter in law, Yvonne of Minto, NB; brothers, Lorne Briggs (Shirley) of Minto, NB and Charlie Briggs (Bessie) of Saint John, NB; sisters, Faye Murray and Pearl Kennedy both of Lakeville Corner, NB; several grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Herb was predeceased by sons, Gene Arnold Briggs and Earl Briggs; a brother, Harold; a sister Jenny.
Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Tuesday, July 27th 2010 from Saint Michael and All Angel's Anglican Church. For those who wish donation's made to the Anglican Church or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.mintofh.com
