Bruce Alexander Brown - Bruce Brown of Grand Bay-Westfield passed away peacefully at Saint John Regional Hospital on July 21, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. Bruce was born in Saint John on April 1, 1957, son of the late Alexander "Sandy" and Dorothy (Jones) Brown, of Grand Bay-Westfield. Bruce was a long time resident of Grand Bay-Westfield, where he had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. He had worked as a glazier and as an electrician and was a past member of IBEW Local 502. Bruce will be sadly missed by his two sisters; Heather (Don) Magee and Rosemary (Paul) Wong, all of Grand Bay-Westfield, one brother; Rory (Brenda) Brown of Summerville, nieces; Lisa and Keira Magee, Tansy, Jasmine, Jillian and April Wong and nephews, Brandon and Adam Brown, as well as several aunt uncles and cousins. Resting at Castle "Fallsview Chapel" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 25, at 2:00 pm. at "Fallsview Chapel". Interment will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
