Clovis Cormier, 92 years and 10 months, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, July 25th 2010, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Notre-Dame, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and the late Osite (née Babineau) Cormier.
Mr. Cormier was a WWII veteran, having served overseas with the RCAF and a parishioner of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Cathedral.
He is survived by his dearly loved wife, Anita (née Babineau); two beloved daughters, Denise (Eric) Allain, of Moncton, and Linda (Jean-Pierre) Daigle, of Shediac; one sister, Nora Babineau, of Notre-Dame; two brothers, Francois (Yvonne), of Notre-Dame, and Normand (Dora), of Moncton; two loving grandchildren, Christine and Marc; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Ida and Hélène; and also by four brothers, Oscar, Blair, Alyre and Alderic.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and also on Tuesday, from 9:30 am until time of departure.
Funeral service will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de l'Assomption Cathedral, Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010, at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Parish Cemetery, Notre-Dame, NB.
