Passed peacefully away after a short illness on May 21, 2009, Joan Jamieson, age 78 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 57 years, Colin, daughters Glenna (Sam English), Calgary, Nancy (Ray Plourde) Halifax and Robyn; grandchildren whom she adored: Colin English and Danielle Plourde; brother-in-law Basil Jamieson (Lorna), many other relatives and a close circle of friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
