It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stella Pearce of Daniel's harbour, NL announce her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Mother leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Emmanuel of Daniel's Harbour, Wilfred (Rhoda) of Portland Creek, and Sherry (Harrison) Patey of River of Ponds; her five grandchildren Danny Turner, Dennis House, Tanya (Wallie) Biggin, Deanna Pearce and Krista Pearce; her three great-grandchildren Dylan House, Samuel Caines and Jake Biggin; her siblings Mrs. Ruby Walsh of Three Mile Rock, Max (Daisy) Payne of Parsons Pond, Ivy (Clyde) Goosney and Kevin (Connie) Decker, both of Three Mile Rock, her sister-in-law Mrs. Sadie Payne of Brampton, Ontario. The family received family and friends from the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel's Harbour on Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral service took place on Monday, June 28 at 2 p.m. with Louise Richards and Rev. Tanya White officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery in Daniel's Harbour. The funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 62 North Main Street, Deer Lake.
