Lillian M. Boyer (nee Lincoln) passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the age of 88. Lillian, predeceased by her beloved husband John Peter (1998). She leaves to mourn her son Victor and will be greatly missed by her sisters Amy Allwright, Rose Elson (Stan), Winnie Hayes (Ken) and by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Elsie Lincoln, her brothers Charles and John Lincoln and by her sister-in-law Edith Lincoln. Lil was born in Moose Jaw in June of 1920. She attended the Empire School in Moose Jaw, but began working early at Moose Jaw Steam Cleaners. She met John and the couple were married in 1953. Lil was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She loved to garden and to crochet, making most of her pieces for her extended family. A time of visitation will be held at Parkview Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Parkview Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.with Rev. Allan Doerksen officiating. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
