It is with deep sadness that we, Arnie’s family, announce his sudden passing on January 03, 2009, in Florida.
Arnie was born and raised in South Bar, son of Annie Allen, Cove Guest Home and the late Arthur Allen. For many years Arnie worked construction as a welder and at the time of his death was working in Florida.
Arnie is survived by sons, Alan, Ontario, Darrell, Calgary; sisters, Lorraine Cuff and Anita Webb, both of Sydney; brother, Aubrey, Fort McMurray and their families. He also left behind a great circle of friends in Florida, who loved him as a family member.
Cremation and a memorial took place in Florida on an earlier date. A memorial service will be held here in Sydney, Saturday May 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church with Reverend Jackie MacDonald officiating.
