The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital with his loving wife Vivian (nee MacDougall) Brown at his bedside on Saturday, May 23, 2009, of James Brown, better known as “The Old Trapper” of Mont Carmel, P.E.I., aged 80 years. James was born on Oct. 15, 1928, in Ontario. Loved and cherished by his children, Joanna (Leonard) Lovecchio of Ontario, James (Bea) Brown of N.B., Donnie (Sue) Brown of Calgary and Brenda (Merle) of B.C., his stepchildren Fred (Marcella) Drover of Ont., Carol “His little girl” (Michael) Arsenault of Summerside and Pam (Troy) George of Alberton, his beautiful grandchildren Susan and Chris (Rioanna) Brown, Jordan Crane, Tommy, Jillian and Pamela Lovecchio, his step-grandchildren who thought the world of him Derek (Maryann), Jennifer (Jeremy), Chelsey, Mitchell Arsenault, Ryan, Sarah, Tierra and Dylan George and Eric Drover. Great grampie to Summer Drover, Faith and Andrew Brown, Tristan Crane, Grace Peters, Tyler, Thomas, Tawny, Kyle and Noah Lovecchio. Special great-grampie to baby Connor Martin. James will also be loved and remembered by many special friends. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his son, Danny. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A celebration of James’s life will be celebrated at a later date for family and friends.
