DOWNER, Aaron Harry — Passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, October 4, 2008 in his 76th year. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Dorothy, sister Minnie (Roy) Pennell and sister-in-law Gloria Downer. Also many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends in Gander Bay and St. John’s. His many great friends and tenants at Maplewood Place, especially Rose and Lou Porter. Extended special family Melvin and Geraldine Fudge. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday, October 5 and Monday, October 6 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, October 7, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment to be held at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road, at a later date.
