Passed away suddenly on May 25, 2009 at his residence in the Goulds, John Joseph O’Keefe, age 56 years. Predeceased by his father and mother John and Anne O’Keefe and sister Nellie, brothers-in-law Jim Barron, Reg Clowe and John Duggan. Leaving to mourn his wife Pauline, of 32 years as well as two daughters: Melanie and Justina; mother-in-law Gertrude Crewe and sister-in-law Pam McCarthy (Bud); brothers: Tommy (Marina), Valentine (Bernice), Kenneth (Anne), Glen, Mark (Linda); sisters: Margaret, Catherine Rogers (Ed), Mary Hawkins (Harold), Muriel Barron, Mildred Boland (Michael) and Lillian Brophy (Tolson); also leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends and Co-workers at Aliant. Resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Visitation on May 26, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland, May 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ferryland.
