It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ada Florence Alice Smith, age 78, from Chance Cove at St. Claire's Hospital, St. John's, on July 27, 2010. Predeceased by parents, William and Emma Smith, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Gerald (Imelda) and Gary (Vangie); sisters Una, Mary and Venus; brother Fredrick; four grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Rested at the Salvation Army, Chance Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Major Mary Smith, assisted by Major Jacob Smith, took place on Friday, July 30, 2010 with interment following.
