May 30, 1920 - May 24, 2009. Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park, St. John’s, Sylvia Stone, aged 88 years, formerly of Clarenville. Predeceased by husband Will, sister and brother-in-law Lillian and Norman Toope. Left with cherished memories her son Edward (Hilda); granddaughters: Rhonda (Chris Fry), Lynn (Greg Pike); great-granddaughters: Victoria and Laura Fry, Allison and Lauren Pike; sisters: Flora (Hazen Clouter), Genevieve Hynes; brother Albert Noseworthy (Nellie) and their families along with other relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Church Hill. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the memorial United Church, Clarenville.
