1926 - 2010 - Rita Bourque-LeBlanc, 83, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, August 1st 2010, at her residence. Born in St. Chrysostome, PE, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Lucie-Anne (née: Arsenault) Arsenault. Mrs. Bourque-LeBlanc had been a member of committees for Résidence Ste-Thérèse and Carnaval d'Amitié de Dieppe, member and volunteer at the Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe and as minister of communion at Ste.-Thérèse Parish. She is survived by eight daughters: Paulette (Jean-Marie) Auffrey of Pré-d'En-Haut, Bernice (Fred) Paget of Cloverdale, Diane (Edgar) Dort of Pictou, NS, Gloria (Jacques) Fournier of Dieppe, Gisèle (Maurice) Richard of Hanwell, Charline (Eric) Melanson of Dieppe, Rachel (Graham) Langille of Comox, BC and Monique (Charles) Maillet of Dieppe; one son, Francis (Jacinthe) of Hanwell; one step-daughter, Stella LeBlanc of Dieppe; five brothers: Alyre (Corinne) Arsenault and Peter (Rose) Arsenault, both of Wellington, PE, Levi (Louise) Arsenault and Léo (Yvonne) Arsenault, both of Abraham Village, PE and Albert (Norma) Arsenault of St. Chrysostome, PE; 17 grandchildren: Lise (David) Arsenault, Isabel Auffrey, Dominique-André Auffrey, Shawn (Natalie) Paget, Stephen (Sarah) Paget, Sara Paget, Angelle Bourque, Marc Bourque (Jessica), Natalie Fournier, Stéphanie Fournier, Danielle Melanson, Joshua Langille, Jonathan Langille, Thomas Langille, Noah Langille, Josée Maillet and Luc Maillet; five great grandchildren: Simon Arsenault, Cloé Arsenault, Marlee Paget, Allyson Paget and Oliver Paget; several special friends as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her first husband, Joseph Bourque in 1989, her second husband, Aquila LeBlanc in 2004; three sisters: Helene, baby Denise and baby Marie; four brothers: Edward, Willie, Franky and Joseph also by one granddaughter, Nicole.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from the Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Wednesday, August 4th 2010, at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
