Harding, Barry Wilson Lansdowne - 66, Valley, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro with his loving family at his side.
Born in Saint John, N.B., he was a son of Muriel (Wilson) Harding of Saint John, N.B. and the late Fred L. Harding. He loved the outdoors and his cat "Guess" as well as spending time over the years with his many family and close friends at his camp in Lepreau, N.B. Barry attended Rothesay Collegiate School from where he graduated.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Madeleine (Leclerc); daughter, Sabrina Harding, his wonderful granddaughter, Oceanna, both of Truro; sister, Marilyn Hebert (Pat McCluskey), Quispamsis, N.B.; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, August 3 in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Funeral Service will take place 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 4 in Valley United Church, 110 Salmon River Road, Valley, Rev. Brian DeLong officiating with burial in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley.
