Donald "Donnie" W. Passanisi, 63, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 1, 2010. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Anthony and Frances (Gandolfi) Passanisi. Donnie was a graduate of Swampscott High School, Swampscott, MA and Bryant & Stratton College of Boston, MA. Donnie was a retired produce wholesaler with the Moncton Tomato Company Ltd. and a member of the Atlantic Produce Association. He was a past member of the Moncton Flying Club and was a licensed private pilot. Among Donnie's hobbies was a love of music, having played drums in a local rock group as a youth, and he was an avid listener of late night talk radio. Donnie will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Janis (Fox) Passanisi and daughter, Liza Passanisi, Victoria, BC.
Sharing of Memories for Donnie at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. Flowers gratefully declined.
