1919 - 2010 - Estella Daigle of Moncton passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at The K. E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Semiwagan Ridge, Barnaby River, NB she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Katherine (Regan) McCarthy. She attended St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church; was a member of Sunny Brae Legion Branch # 54, an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary, and a Life Member of the Air Force Veteran's Club. Estella is survived by her son, Dennis Daigle, (special friend Ginette White) of Moncton, daughters Joan (Al) Dupuis of Moncton and Mary-Sue Daigle (Marc Comeau) of Cap Pele; granddaughters, Krista Lutes (Jason) of Moncton, Erica Beers of Calgary and two great grandsons, Caleb and Ethan Lutes of Moncton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eric Daigle and an infant daughter, Joyce, brothers, Frank and James McCarthy of Barnaby River NB, Bernard (Josephine) McCarthy from Nowlanville NB, Matt McCarthy from Thunder Bay, ON and sisters Edith (Francis) Stack, Mary (Frank) Ehbreck of California and Gertie (Donny) Hyslop of Moores Mills, NB.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
