Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 of Mrs. Kitty Murphy of Charlottetown, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Wendell Murphy. She is survived by her nephew, Richard (Carole) Coffin of Ottawa, Ontario, and cousins Dan Fraser, Marnie McGonnell and Maureen Grant. She was predeceased by her parents, Simon and Elizabeth (Hughes) Crabbe, and brothers, Louis and Simon Crabbe. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Friday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kitty’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
