The death occurred suddenly, surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, of Edward Julian Croken of Kensington, aged 71 years. Julian was born on Feb. 13, 1938, in Kensington, P.E.I., to his late parents, Aloysius and Eileen (MacKenna) Croken. Survived by his loving companion, Anne MacLean. Loving father of Terry (Mary), Michael (Lynn), Julie (Myles) Doucette, Julianne (Ken) Ramey and Lisa (Cory) MacMillan. Special grandfather of Cory Mohl, Christopher, Jennifer, Brian and Brett Croken, Kristian and Maggie Ramey and Curry and Logan MacMillan. Also lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Wendell (Donna) Rudy (Ruth) Rosita (Edward) MacDonald, Kaye Coates and Herb (Sara). Also survived by several nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, stepchildren and stepgrandchildren. Besides his parents, Julian was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Connick, and his brother-in-law, William Coates. Completed funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
