PLOURDE: Joseph Roger Hector, age 76 years of Sceptre, SK passed away at the Kindersley Hospital on July 29, 2010. The graveside service was held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Sceptre Cemetery. Roger is survived by his son, Kevin Plourde; daughters Brenda (Kevin) Mastel and Annette (Kevin) Vernerey; as well as grandchildren Brandon & Kelsey Mastel and Justin & Cody Vernerey. He was predeceased by his wife, Jo Wayne Boudreau. Roger was born in Madawaska, New Brunswick on September 28, 1933. He later married Jo Wayne Boudreau and they had three children. Roger was employed by the local Ironworkers Union # 720 in Leduc, AB and was a member of the Leduc Royal Canadian Legion Branch 108. He loved the outdoors, which included camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing poker with friends. Roger will be dearly missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
