Bob Taylor of Saint John passed away at home surrounded by his loving family August 5, 2010. Born 1940 in Fredericton to the late Roy and Ada (Morehouse) Taylor. Bob worked for New Brunswick Electric Power Commission for 37 years, retiring in 1995. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Detroit Red Wings Fan; enjoyed fishing, harness racing, going to his brother's camp in Fredericton and spending time with family and friends. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Joan (Donovan) Taylor; two daughters Kelley Fulton (Chris) of Rothesay and Jodi Noddin (Basil) of Saint John; bampie to four precious grandchildren Robin, Emma, Sarah and Brian; one brother Donald (Violet), two sisters Jean Long and Marlene Latchford all of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Randy Anthony Taylor and one sister June Linden.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Sunday August 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Private family interment to be held at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
