ALFREDA ALICE PENNEY
1918 - 2010

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfreda Penney announces her passing at the Springdale Retirement Center in Springdale on June 17, 2010 at the age of 91. Alfreda was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church. Predeceased by her husband, Alfred Penney; son-in-law, Freeman Clarke and granddaughter, Anne Hoddinott. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons: Roland (Lottie) of Edmonton, AB., Dale (Helen) of Whitecourt, AB., Lorne (Kay) of Port Saunders, NL. and David (Rosalyn) of Kitchener, ON.; daughters: Rose (Freeman Clarke-deceased) of Springdale, NL. and Nova (Con Hoddinott) of Hawke's Bay, NL. Also leaving to mourn 29 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. Pastor Lindsey Foster conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on June 20, 2010. Interment was at the Springdale Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Greg Penney, Owen Penney, Nathan Burton, Alexander Burton, Stephen Clarke and Timothy Robinson.
