Dorothy M. Hatfield of Somerville, NB passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB. She was born at Andover, NB on February 13, 1924, the daughter of the late Dr. Aden and Mildred E. (Wallace) MacIntosh. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Harold R. Hatfield, sister Katherine Porter, brothers Dr. Robert MacIntosh and Ian MacIntosh and grandson Nicholas Phillips.

grandchildren, Heidi (Charles) Culberson, Tammy (Kent) Orlando, Daniel (Laura) Hatfield, Wendy (Michael) Statters, Bryan (Destiny) Everett, Sarah (Tim) MacDonald, Christopher Phillips, Stephanie Phillips, Gillian (Chris) Budrow, Krista Hatfield, Ian Hatfield; great grandchildren, (Culberson) Emma, Aden, Ethan; (Orlando) Madeline, Lily; (Hatfield) Eva, Adah, Abigail; (Statters) Jerica, Brayden, Thane; (Everett) Tevon, Kaleb, Trinity, Ethan; (MacDonald) Ashlyn, Ainsleigh, Scotia, Lachlan; sister, Sarah Hawkes and brother Graeme MacIntosh, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Britton Funeral Home 2 High Street, Hartland, NB on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service for Dorothy M. Hatfield will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Hartland United Baptist Church.
Interment to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Greenwood Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
