Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre, on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, Walter Coffey, age 89, of Angels Cove. Predeceased by his wife Ida, sons: Wayne and William, daughter Janet, daughter-in-law Betty, brothers: Dave and William, sisters: Ellen and MaryAnn. Leaving to mourn sons: Walter Jr., Clarence, Brian (Betty), Richard (Darlene), and Melvin (Leonella); daughters: Joan (Harold) and Diane; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Bride, Theresa, Cecilia and Lucy, and a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick’s Cove on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Funeral Mass to take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2009, at St. Patricks Church, Patricks Cove.
