MacIsaac, Brian Alexander, 43, New Glasgow and formerly of Pictou, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, August 5, 2010. Born in Inverness and was the son of John and Bernadette (LeForte-Campbell) MacIsaac. Brian was an avid sports fan who enjoyed following his favourite teams the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. Brian could be often found at the local pool and snooker halls as he loved to play and enjoyed the competition with others. Brian will be sadly missed by his parents, his daughter Alexandria MacKay, Pictou; brothers, Allan MacIsaac (Wendy), Granton; Paul MacIsaac (Michele Duplessis), Pictou; Peter MacIsaac (Kelly), Edmonton; John MacIsaac, Pictou; Colin MacIsaac, Pictou; Donald MacIsaac (Laverne), Halifax; Gerard MacIsaac (Ann), Inverness; sisters Christena Baillie (Robert), Trenton; Rose MacIsaac (Steven LeMay), Pictou; and June Snyder (Bernie), Georgia. He will also be missed and loved by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephew, Aunt Catherine Romick, Pictou, Aunt Mary Sarah, Port Hawkesbury and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister in-law Colleen MacIsaac, maternal grandparents Martin and Mary Jane LeForte, and paternal grandparents Allan and Christina MacIsaac. Cremation has taken place Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral Mass will take place 11:00 AM Monday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with Rev. Evo DiPierro officiating. . A reception will follow in the church hall. Family flowers only.
