1937-2010

Mike Pelton was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on April 15, 1937. He passed away due to an illness at 73 years of age on August 6, 2010 at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital, Clearwater, BC.

Mike is survived by his children, Geraldine Tiller (William) of Glendon, AB, Dale Pelton (Theresa) of Clearwater, BC, and Cindy Makaruk (Jerry) of Glendon, AB; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; six brothers, David Pelton (Helen) of Kamloops, BC, Joseph Pelton (Theresa) of Clearwater, Richard Pelton of Dunn Lake, BC, Timothy Pelton (Linda) of Gladstone, MB, Stephen Pelton (Joanne) of Clearwater, and Peter Pelton (Barbara) of Clearwater, BC; sister Marilee Brkich (Nick) of Barriere, BC; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike was predeceased by his father, David Edward Pelton, of Clearwater, his mother, Laura Isobel Croston of Clearwater, his stepfather, Otto Zral, of Clearwater, and his nephew, Marvin Pelton, of Clearwater.

Mike was a logger and a horseman. He loved the outdoors and he helped out in his community. Family and friends were very important to Mike.

A Memorial Service for Mike Pelton will be held in the Conference Room at the Wells Gray Inn, Clearwater, BC, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010.
