It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Wendell Gallant on Aug. 5, 2010 at Toronto East General Hospital, surrounded by family.
Born in Reserve Mines on Aug. 29, 1951, he was the oldest son of Mae Gallant and the late Albert Gallant.
He is survived by his daughter, Janine Gallant, Calgary, Alta.; brothers, Al (Theresa) Gallant, Glace Bay, Kevin (Debbie) Gallant, Glace Bay; sister, Charlene (Seward) Bonaparte, Reserve Mines and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services, Mississauga, Ont.
In honouring Wendell's wishes, a private family burial will take place at St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery at a later date.
