It is with great sadness that the family of the late Owen Davis announce his passing on Wednesday, August 11th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 63 years, Mona (nee Brake); children: Juanita Delorey, Wayne (Diane), Linda (Stan) Ruth, George (Mary), Marina (Paul) Hill, Shara Wells, Darrell (Delphene), Michell Davis (Roman) and Lisa (Spencer) Payne; daughter-in-law: Valda Davis; grandchildren: Velvet, Heather, Jared, Geoffrey, Arlene, Crystal, Kayla, Owen, Jason, Rhonda, Bobby, Roger, Ian, Carline, Jenna, Meghan and Vanessa; great grandchildren: Michael, Nicholas, Gabriel, Benjamin, Hudson, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Tristan and Madyn; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Keith; parents: George and Edith; brothers: Clyde, John and Russell and sister, Nina Davis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows, from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made the Palliative Care unit of WMRH.
