1938,1942 - 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Melindy, aged 72, announces his passing together with his wife of 48 years, Patricia, in a tragic car accident near McLean, Saskatchewan on August 4, 2010. Predeceased by parents Earl and Marie Melindy, brothers Gordon and Jack and brother-in-law Wilf Norman.
Left with fond and loving memories are daughter Dawn Cobden (Tony) of Ottawa; sons Peri (Karen) of Springdale and Jason (Beth McCarty) of Whitby; brother Fred (Norma) of Valleyfield; sisters Elsie Norman and Juanita Hatcher (Erwin) of Lumsden; sister-in-laws, Dorcas and Marion of Lumsden; grandchildren Anthony and Julia Cobden, Hannah and Ben Melindy and Charlotte, Sydney and Leah Melindy, and a large number of relatives and friends.
Funeral date and time will be announced in the near future. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ken Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes, Springdale. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for the following: Leprosy Mission Canada, World Vision and Grace United Church, Springdale.
