Passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Predeceased by parents Ellen and William, brother-in-law Gus Lynch and several aunts and uncles. Leaving to mourn his loss are three daughters: Natasha (Corey), Melissa (Colin) and Nicole (Rob) and their mother Geraldine (Gerri); his sisters: Marie Lynch, Betty (Billy) Lambe, Carmel (Billy) Power and Margie (George) Codner, as well as brother Tony. Doug also leaves a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and close friend Hannah Power. Doug will be sadly missed by all. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 30th at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line, Torbay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the CNIB.
