1936 - 2010 - Grande-Digue - Charles Bourgeois, 74, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Born in Grande-Digue on March 17, 1936, he was the son of the late Louis and Hélène (Cormier) Bourgeois. Charles is survived by his wife, Adrienne (Poirier); two sons, Serge (Sonia Thibodeau) of Grande-Digue, Daniel of Dieppe; two daughters, Rachel LeBlanc ( Samuel), Maryse Bourgeois (Daniel Cormier) both of Grande-Digue; three brothers, Fernand (Géraldine) of Shediac Bridge; Pierre (Laudia Gallant), Louis (Hélène Doiron) both of Grande-Digue; two sisters, Justine Léger (Gérard) of Grande-Digue, Lorraine Devarennes (Aldérice) of Dieppe; two grandchildren, Alexandre and Janie; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Anna and Pauline. Special thanks to Stephanie Landry (Home Care), Extra-Mural and the nurses from the 4th floor at the Moncton City Hospital.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, August 13th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, August 14th from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Saturday, August 14th at 11 am.
